Dives

The diving centre is the meeting point for divers before diving. You arrive there at the agreed time to prepare the equipment, get dressed and ask for the necessary material.

Only the weight belts and the tanks are distributed on board.

For the SCUBA IBIZA Diving Centre, what matters most is that our customers enjoy their holidays and free time diving. No need to carry heavy equipment since the tanks are already on the boat.

Our boat is specially designed for divers; therefore navigation is always comfortable.

Depending on the dive spot, we navigate between 5 and 60 minutes. After the dive, we help all divers to undo their equipment so that they don’t have to carry their tanks on board.

A PADI Divemaster or instructor guides all SCUBA IBIZA dives in groups of 5-6 divers so that our clients can fully enjoy their dives.

Before the dive, SCUBA IBIZA instructors give a briefing on the characteristics of the dive spot, the dive buddies and the itinerary.

In SCUBA IBIZA we can give the briefing in 7 different languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Catalan.

Experienced divers can dive on their own with a buddy if they follow the safety instructions given by SCUBA IBIZA in relation to depth, dive time, respect for the marine life, etc.

On many dive sites we have underwater moorings, which provide a secure mooring, protecting the underwater world and the valuable sea grass beds (Posidonia oceanica) as well.

In short, our purpose is to guarantee a safe and fun dive, respectful of the environment.

The SCUBA IBIZA Diving Centre offers abount 30 different dive spots, many of them in the “Es Freus – Ses Salinas” Marine Reserve. We have a permit of the ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Balearic Government, necessary to dive in the Marine Reserve.

Our three outstanding dives are the wreck Don Pedro, the Mariana platform and the Dado Pequeño.

Our dives are outstanding for their excellent visibility (up to 30 meters), and their variety of underwater landscapes: wrecks, caves, walls with gorgeous sea fans, spectacular shallow dives and the beautiful scenery of sea grass beds. The crystal clear waters and the exceptional visibility are due to the sea grass; the best conserved of the Mediterranean and Natural World Heritage by UNESCO.

From May to November the water temperature is pleasant, reaching a maximum of 28 degrees during the summer.
