The Sponge is an islet about a 10-minute boat ride from SCUBA IBIZA, within the Freus Marine Reserve and Las Salinas Natural Park. The deepest part is on the south side, where we find large blocks of rock that harbor crayfish, scorpionfish, yellow encrusting anemones, Mediterranean madrepora, and sponges.
