BECOME A PROFESSIONAL
PADI Divemaster
Course for divers who want to dedicate themselves professionally to recreational diving. This is the first leadership level within the PADI organization.
The course allows you to:
- Lead dives with certified divers.
- Assist a PADI instructor in open and confined water training for PADI diving courses.
- Conduct Discover Scuba Diving programs.
- Accompany students during dives.
- Conduct PADI ReActivate programs.
- Teach and certify PADI Advanced Snorkeling courses.
Activity structure
Three modules:
- Development of aquatic techniques
- Knowledge development
- Practical application
Duration
- Minimum 15 days.
Requirements
- Primary Emergency Care (CPR) and Secondary Emergency Care (First Aid) training within the last 24 months.
- Medical certificate.
- PADI Rescue Diver course or equivalent.
- Complete the digital theoretical training (approximately 12 hours).
- Minimum 40 open water dives.
- Complete the Participant Form and the Medical Form.
Includes
- All digital teaching material.
- The cost of the link for the online theoretical part
- Diving fees in the Ibiza Marine Reserve.
Does not include:
- Certification processing fees.
- Diving equipment. Can be rented separately.
- Diving insurance. Mandatory in Spain. Can be purchased separately.
Minimum age
- Minimum 18 years old
CONTINUE YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER
PADI Assistant Instructor
This is the second level of leadership within the PADI organization.
The course allows you to:
- Act as a certified assistant to a PADI instructor.
- Teach and certify the PADI Advanced Snorkeling and Buoyancy Mastery course.
- Teach academic classes under the direct supervision of a PADI instructor.
- Assist an instructor during confined water training.
Activity structure
- 7 academic modules
- PADI Standards and Procedures exam
- Academic presentations on confined and open water training
Duration
- Minimum 4 days.
Requirements
- Primary Emergency Care (CPR) and Secondary Emergency Care (First Aid) training within the last 24 months.
- Medical certificate.
- PADI Divemaster course or equivalent.
- Complete the digital theoretical training (approximately 12 hours).
- Minimum 60 open water dives.
Complete the Participant Form and Medical Form.
Includes
- All digital teaching material.

- Diving fees in the Ibiza Marine Reserve.
Does not include:
- Certification processing fees.

CONTINUE YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER
PADI Instructor
This is the first level of instructor certification within the PADI organization.
The course allows you to teach the full range of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster. You can also teach the following specialties: Peak Performance Bouyancy, AWARE-Coral Reef Conservation, and AWARE.
Activity structure
Two options:
- IDC for Divemaster or equivalent
- OWSI for PADI Assistant Instructors or diving instructors from other organizations
Two phases:
- Training phase: instructor development course, either IDC or OWSI
- Assessment phase: Instructor Exam (IE)
Requirements
IDC:
- Primary Emergency Care (CPR) and Secondary Emergency Care (First Aid) training within the last 24 months.
- Medical certificate.
- PADI Divemaster course or equivalent.
- Completion of digital theoretical training.
- Minimum 100 open water dives.
- Complete the Participant Form
- Participant and Medical Form
OWSI:
- Primary Emergency Care (CPR) and Secondary Emergency Care (First Aid) training within the last 24 months.
- Medical certificate.
- Assistant Instructor or equivalent qualification, or instructor from another diving organization.
- Completion of digital theoretical training.
- Minimum 100 open water dives.
- Complete the Participant Form and the Medical Form.
Includes
- All digital teaching material.

- Diving fees in the Ibiza Marine Reserve.
Does not include:
- Certification processing fees.
- Diving equipment. Can be rented separately.
- Diving insurance. Mandatory in Spain. Can be purchased separately.

- IDC: Minimum 10 days.
- OWSI: Minimum 6 days.
In addition to the exam days.

PADI Specialty Diving Instructor
This course allows you to teach the various PADI specialty diving courses.
Activity structure
- 1 academic development session.
- 1 academic presentation session.
- 1 or 2 open water presentations by the candidate.
Duration
- Minimum 1 day.
Requirements
- Medical certificate.
- PADI Instructor in Teaching Status
- Completion of digital theoretical training.
- Complete the Participant Form and the Medical Form.
Minimum age
- Minimum 18 years old

Emergency First Response Instructor
CPR and First Aid Instructor Course.
The course qualifies you to teach CPR and First Aid courses.

Requirements
- Training in Primary Emergency Care (RCO) and Secondary (First Aid) within the last 24 months.
- Divemaster or higher certification.
